The @WalletConnect monetization approach feels well-thought-out and aligned with long-term sustainability. Keeping the end-user experience free while introducing volume-based fees for apps is a fair model that rewards real usage without adding friction.
It would be great to see clearer examples of fee tiers and better tooling (dashboards/APIs) so developers can easily track usage and expected costs. Additional clarity on how fees are transparently redistributed to node operators, wallets, and the community would also strengthen trust.
Overall, this is a solid step toward sustainable infrastructure if implemented with strong transparency and developer support.
