I think there is no option to unstake earlier anyways. Did you try to unstake?

Your quite right in a way, but you recall some can stake longer while others shorter, so for those who unstaked earlier as a result of their shorter staking period from start, should not be given same rewards as those who had stayed staked from start & over the longest period permitted at time of staking
