So honestly I’m actually pretty excited about this. I mean the whole idea kind of sounds like it’s really going to make staking a lot more dynamic and you know just more appealing for everyone. Like if fewer people are staking the APY gets juicier which is a nice little incentive and when more people jump in it just kind of evens out. So yeah, As a community member’s perspective this seems like a pretty cool and kind of forward-thinking move. Agreed

Well I like this, low total staked WCT gives higher APY. This would encourage more staking. Looking forward to seeing how things unfold

The new APY formula will also attract new wct holders as the apy is better, and keeping in mind the use case of wct , it is a positive improvement for the project.

Well, I hope this formula will work better than the existing one. 11.99 WCT is my total rewards for over a year, which is not attractive for long-term stakers. The Team has always rewarded my wallet thanks to my staking, but the Staking itself didn’t. So basically, I earned like 70x more just by participating in Layer3 Quests & Boosted Staking Rewards.
If the current proposal will somehow change this, I’ll be happy to vote “YES”.

I’m a long-term staker, and I think the new proposal is excellent… I’ll try to explain it in a few words…
When the total stake weight is low → the APY increases, incentivizing more users to participate and maintain staking in weak markets.
When the stake weight increases significantly → the APY decreases more sharply, helping to maintain overall sustainability and avoid excessive rewards that could deplete funds.
It encourages long-term stakers, as the curve rewards those who maintain their positions even when the market fluctuates.
